HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (Noga Holding) has underscored that the private companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain are moving steadily towards further prosperity and development in the bright era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain in light of the support and interest of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

This came while HH Shaikh Nasser visited the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (Asry) premises. HH Shaikh Nasser was received by Mr Yusuf Isa Bu Bshait, Chairman of Asry, Mr Mazin Mohammed Matar, Managing Director of the company and Ms. Sahar Attaie, Deputy CEO of the company and several other officials from Asry.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa explained that Asry is considered among the companies that made a qualitative leap in the marine industry in the region, and this confirms the high competencies of its young Bahraini cadres who are working tirelessly to elevate the industrial sector in the Kingdom in line with the vision of HM the King to support and encourage the Bahraini youth to be part of the development progress in Bahrain.

During the tour, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa was shown several images that document the deep-rooted history of the company and its stages of development in the past decades. His Highness also made an inspection tour of all the company's internal facilities, including ship repair docks, specialised repair workshops and service centres. His Highness also discussed with the company's representatives the projects that have been implemented recently and the successes achieved.

His Highness also reviewed with the officials the latest advanced technical strategies of the company across various fields, including digital systems and industrial solutions as well as artificial intelligence.
